Day by Day

Does anyone have any clue as to what is going on? It seems as if, amongst all the hearsay, we are all collectively trapped in a bottomless hole of uncertainty. These are distressing times we live in, but they allow for a lot of personal reflection, which I explored further through illustration. My collection is based on the charm of the mundane encounters I meet throughout my daily routine. As each day blends into the next, it's hard to find ease in the midst of this global state of unrest. There are some things to hold onto. These illustrations reflect the states of mind I’ve found myself fixating on day by day, and capture the tenderness of simplicity. They serve as a reminder to practice patience- a virtue so crucial nowadays. I've employed this practice in my collection in efforts of commemorating the little nuances that give each day a new meaning. Comfort can be found amongst all the ambiguity.
