My work is constantly evolving and spans across a variety of photographic styles. Throughout this process, I have continually found myself revisiting the ideas behind the intimate nature of identity and self-discovery by focusing on myself and the relationships I have formed with those closest to me. My work is studio based and makes use of various lighting techniques, detail-oriented sets, as well as both physical and digital manipulation.
Eden is the representation of feelings of both physical and emotional isolation that are present in a complex long-term relationship. Through this body of work I explore the futility of romantic love and the inability to reclaim trust after it has been broken. Even though there is a literal and figurative distance between us, we remain forever connected.
